VISION
It is Prevailing Point Ministries' desire to see our congregation and community thriving in discipleship, development, and dominion-stewardship. God has given us everything we need for life and godliness. We aim to be faithful stewards of all the blessings God has given us.


MISSION
To seek the only wise and true God, our heavenly Father, and deepen our relationship with Him through worship, prayer, and self-denial while using our influence to make disciples and experience the presence of God in our everyday lives.


SENIOR PASTORS

Pastor NL Transou, Jr. is a native Memphian who received his Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry, with a concentration in Christian Education at Memphis Theological Seminary. Additionally, Pastor NL has completed 4 units/1600 hours of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy.  And lastly, Pastor NL graduated with honors from Belhaven University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree focusing on Management within a Christian Worldview.


Pastor Artricia Transou serves alongside her husband, NL Transou, Jr., and loving their three children. She graduated at the top of her class from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Master of Science degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology. Plus, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the South at Sewanee.
Pastor Artircia has a wealth of ministerial experience in leadership, spearheading women’s ministries, youth and young and adult departments, revivals, and outreach events.


CHURCH HISTORY

Pastors NL, Jr. and Articia Transou were sent on a mission to plant a church by Bishop Thomas I. Bethany, presiding prelate of Holiness Outreach Ministries Association (HOMA), which is a fellowship of churches designed to give support to independent ministries throughout the city of Memphis, TN.
In 2013, through this fellowship of churches, Pastors NL, Jr. and Artrica were ceremonially ordained and confirmed to plant a church by Bishop Thomas Bethany, Bishop Aaron Hopkins, and Bishop Antonio Lawson before the church members of Bethany Temple, New Covenant Outreach, True Believers, and the ministry team of the soon to be Prevailing Point Ministries. After years of organizing and evangelizing, Prevailing Point Ministries was able to purchase property for formal worship and ministry events: 1942 Lynnbrook PL, Memphis, TN 38116.
